Alfred Lee is a Technical Project Manager at DataKind, harnessing the power of data science in the service of humanity.
There, he assembles and leads teams of pro bono data scientists in solving problems for social change organizations. Previously at companies in industries including social media analytics, e-commerce, cybersecurity, ad-tech, and finance, he has worked hands-on as a data scientist with a variety of big data technologies. He has also taught classes, delivered talks, and led teams, demonstrating his commitment to coaching and teaching people to think responsibly about data. Alfred holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Texas at Austin and is an avid student at the Brooklyn Institute for Social Research.
