With more than 20 years leading insights and analytics for iconic consumer brands, Ann Semeraro is currently Director of Global Brand and Consumer Insights at Twitter. Responsible for establishing the consumer research practice at Twitter, Ann currently leads a high-impact function that informs critical business and marketing strategies for the Twitter brand and oversees measurement of all consumer marketing activations. Ann also leads the customer experience measurement practice for advertising partners. Prior to her current role, Ann was Head of Global Growth research at Twitter, focused on expanding the company’s international reach in developing markets.
Ann joined Twitter in 2014 from IAC’s Ask.com business, where she was Senior Director of Global Consumer and Market Insight and Head of Research. Prior to IAC, Ann spent several years in insights leadership at Levi Strauss & Co. working across the company’s portfolio of apparel brands, as well as early positions at Clorox and General Electric. Throughout her career, Ann has established a track record of forging new ground in research innovation, particularly leveraging the predictive capabilities of big data analytics to modernize traditional research approaches. Current interests include the use of VR and geo-localization technologies for advertising research. Ann holds a Master of Marketing Research (MMR) from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Trinity College (Hartford, CT). She is a member of the Advertising Research Foundation's Women in Analytics Steering Committee and is fluent in French. |
