Briggs is a multi-faceted leader who understands the intersection of digital, data and analytics strategy. He started his career in San Francisco at digital marketing pioneer Modem Media in 1998. Much of his time was focused on operationalizing data due to the state of analytic technology at the time. He worked at a series of progressively larger advertising and marketing agencies and most recently started the Marketing Science practice at Grey. Grey Group is a global advertising and marketing agency with headquarters in New York City, and 432 offices in 96 countries.
The Marketing Science team at Grey is an in-house data consultancy and has multiple specialty areas (digital analytics, data visualization, econometrics etc..) that we leverage to drive client value. Our largest client, UPMC, is a top 20 hospital network. We are working with their enterprise analytics team to surface hospital level operating data (patient and procedure volume, demographic patient data, doctor referral patterns, insurance status etc...) and visualize the performance in Tableau for the CMO. Additionally the team is leveraging patient data to inform the customer journey and helping them understand and prioritize marketing spend at the hospital level by looking at service line operational data. Briggs brings a consultative / business first mindset to analytics and always drives innovation in the data and analytics space. He has advised clients on numerous topics including: digital attribution, data management platforms, multi-variate testing, media optimization and innovative lead scoring approaches. He is a member of WPP data alliance team building a proprietary data platform for use by multiple agencies and is on the product advisory council that reviews new features and develops the product roadmap. He has experience building teams and successfully manages relationships at the c-suite level. |
