David started out as a consultant for Accenture designing technology system architectures.  With the beginning of the Big Data industry, he moved on to run The Walt Disney Company's Content Management team before leaving to continue pioneering innovative uses for data at Google.  There he run programs for Google Play and Google Earth leading efforts for data warehousing, analytics, and ML.  He holds multiple patents and defensive publications in the data space and holds an MS in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois and an MS in Data Science from Northwestern University.

Outside of technology, David is a father to a 2 year old daughter, a rugby player, an outdoor enthusiast prone to climbing mountains and trekking around the backcountry, a foodie and wine-o, and an amateur chef and photographer.
