Gail Evans is Mercer's Global Chief Information Officer (CIO). She joined Mercer from Microsoft in 2016, where she was the Group Partner Program Manager. In that role, she worked across Microsoft Business Groups, Product Engineering and IT teams to launch the next-generation customer knowledge platform for Microsoft’s Mobile First, Cloud First services. In her previous role, she was General Manager of Microsoft Studios, Services & Operations. Before joining Microsoft, Gail was Vice President and General Manager of Hewlett-Packard, where she was responsible for worldwide country engagement, web capabilities, and execution, search, personalization and digital marketing for HP’s web presence. She has also served as Technology Senior Vice President for Bank of America, responsible for bank of america.com and mobile banking.
Gail started her career at Eastman Kodak Company where she spent 20+ years as a Technology Executive and most proudly as CIO of Consumer Digital leading digital transformations, initially with the Digital Kiosk and consumer digital software, innovation and software strategies across operating units. Of her professional achievements, Gail is most proud of her degree, Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from Nazareth College, her strong support of women in technology with the time she devotes to initiatives such as Microsoft DigiGirls and Codess, and Stanford’s She++. She also served briefly on Anita Borg’s Board of Directors. In her free time Gail enjoys reading and learning about technology disruptions, trends and innovations. Gail has a BS from Nazareth College and a MBA from the Simon School of Business, University of Rochester. |
