James Kong is a seasoned Technology Risk executive with an expansive experience in the financial services sector. He currently serves as Vice President of Technology Risk at BNP Paribas - Bank of the West, where he is responsible for the management of technology risk and controls, leading and building the technology risk quantification program and is a key contributor to the information security framework for the bank.

Prior to that, he held key roles at JP Morgan, including managing the technology risk and control program for Private Banking and leading change governance for the Global Technology Infrastructure group. His roles have given him a strong and diverse international outlook, having worked in various countries, including Singapore, Hong Kong, China and the U.S.

James earned his Executive MBA from Rutgers University and a Master of Science in Information Systems from NYU Stern Business School.
