Jeff Parkinson has over 25 years of experience in the marketing automation and data warehousing industries. He worked for over 10 years in the Financial Services industry, launching marketing and analytical platforms with J.P. Morgan and Fidelity Investments. Jeff then moved into consulting with Accenture’s Marketing Transformation practice working with companies such as Williams-Sonoma, AT&T Wireless, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and Sirius-XM Radio to champion data-driven marketing and using actionable analytics to drive incremental marketing revenue.
For the past ten years, Jeff has built the Customer Data team at Dow Jones. This group works with over 40 different departments around the company to provide data warehousing, reporting, marketing campaigns and analytical insight into Dow Jones’ current and potential customer base. His team also manages inbound (web pages) and outbound channel management (social, onsite, in app, email, direct mail, telemarketing and Customer Service alerts) for The Wall Street Journal, Barron's, MarketWatch, Factiva, News Wires and the New York Post. Jeff enjoys playing acoustic guitar, banjo, congas (though not at the same time) and spending time with his family and animals. |
