As a Managing Principal Architect for DataStax, Michael has successfully delivered more than 100 successful disruptive Customer Experience, IoT, Artificial Intelligence, and Graph projects across a multitude of industries. While exceeding his sales quota by 200% for 2 years straight, Michael has been pivotal to the success of his Customer Success team providing vision, leadership, and tactical know-how.
Michael’s unique background allows him to go well beyond the limitations of typical management consultants. Michael drives strategic initiatives, while providing hands on implementation guidance. In addition to his management and implementation consulting background, Michael has held several voting board of director positions and founder of several startup enterprises. Michael has been a top adviser on global transformation programs for many large publicly traded and privately-held companies during his career. These global programs range from $10 - $150 million in size and touch every aspect of his client’s organization, including financials, supply chain, procurement and human resources. During these engagements, Michael spends most of his time advising C-level executives on the strategic aspects of transformational change and partner relationships. Michael also served as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software implementations, such as SAP and Oracle E-Business Suite. Michael was Gartner’s lead for Big Data and consults on Data Warehousing & Business Intelligence engagements. In addition to his adviser role, Michael has more than 18 years’ experience in the development and deployment of enterprise software solutions with a primary focus on J2EE-focused applications, enterprise data warehouses and business intelligence architecture(s). He has experience delivering solutions across a diverse set of industries including Social Media, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Gaming, Telecommunications, Healthcare, Business Services, Retail and Hospitality. Michael received his undergraduate degree from Penn State University, Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Villanova University, and has attended Harvard University focusing his studies on Data Science. Michael was also a featured blogger on the Harrisburg Patriot-News website’s (PennLive.com) 50-Yard-Lion blog. Michael’s writings have been featured on ESPN, the Huffington Post, Sports Illustrated and numerous other sports websites. He has also been a guest commentator for sport-talk radio shows. |
