As Associate Director, Business & Legal Affairs for IPG Mediabrands, Shane's role focuses on legal and regulatory compliance matters, as well as researching, reviewing, drafting, and updating a wide variety of contracts, including agency-client, vendor, search, media, confidentiality, consulting, technology and data agreements relating to advertising and marketing services. While Shane also has additional responsibilities relating to legal technology, privacy, data governance, and alignment of various systems, my main focus is interacting primarily with legal and business teams within Mediabrands and its affiliated agencies (including Cadreon, Mediabrands Data & Tech, Magna, and Reprise), as well as its clients.
Prior to joining Mediabrands in July of 2016, Shane previously worked in a legal capacity for EMI Music, DreamWorks Animation, Sony Music, Viacom, and most recently for the Office of the General Counsel of Planned Parenthood Federation of America. |
